Jake Gyllenhaal as “Prince of Persia” (Trailer)

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in a new epic action-adventure movie - “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time”.

The film, based on the 2003 video game of the same name, is set in the numinous lands of Persia. A rogue prince played by Gyllenhaal and a mysterious princess played by a Arterton are tasked to carry a sacred dagger with the power to reverse time to its resting place before the forces of evil obtain it for their own wicked intentions.

Prince of Persia is from the creators of the three “Pirates of the Caribbean” and will star former Bond girl Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina.

Directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), the film will be theatrically released on May 28, 2010.
